Use of social plugins from Facebook

Due to our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimisation and operation of our online services (as defined in Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO), the website of brandscape GmbH uses Facebook social plugins (“plugins”), which are operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). The embedded services can be recognized by the Facebook logo or by the terms “like”, “Gefällt mir”, “share” in the colours of Facebook (blue and white). Information about all Facebook plugins can be found via the following link:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

Facebook Inc. complies with European privacy laws and is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement:
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active

The plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. brandscape GmbH has no influence whatsoever on the nature and extent of the data that the plugin transmits to the Facebook Inc. servers. You can find more information here:
https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084

The plugin informs Facebook Inc. that you have visited our website as a user. In this case it is possible that your IP address will be saved. If you are logged into your Facebook account while visiting this website, the information will be linked to that account.
If you use the functions of the plugin – for example by sharing or “liking” a post – the corresponding information is also transmitted to Facebook Inc. If you wish to prevent Facebook Inc. from linked such data to your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting our website and delete the stored cookies. You can also completely prevent the loading of Facebook plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/). You can make further settings for data processing for advertising purposes or object to the use of your data for advertising purposes through your Facebook profile. You can access the settings here:

For what purpose and to what extent Facebook collects, uses and processes data and which rights and setting options you have to protect your privacy can be read in the Facebook data protection guidelines. You can find them here: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
Due to our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimisation and operation of our online services (as defined in Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO), the website of brandscape GmbH uses social plugins (“plugins”), of the social network Google+, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The plugins can be recognized, for example, by buttons with the character “+1” on a white or coloured background. You can find an overview of Google+ plugins and their appearance here: https://developers.google.com/+/plugins

If you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Thanks to this connection, Google receives the information that your browser has accessed the relevant page of our website, even if you do not have a Google+ profile or have one but are not currently logged into it. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged into Google+, Google can link your visit to our website directly to your Google+ profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “+1” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Google server and stored there. The information is also published on Google+ and displayed to your contacts there.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Google’s data protection information: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html

If you do not want Google to link the data collected on our website to your profile on Google+, you should log out of Google+ before you visit our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Google plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

Use of social plugins from Twitter

Due to our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimisation and operation of our online services (as defined in Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO), the website of brandscape GmbH uses social plugins (“plugins”), of the micro-blogging service Twitter, which is operated by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (“Twitter”). The plugins are marked with a Twitter logo, for example in the form of a blue “Twitter bird”. You can find an overview of Twitter plugins and their appearance here: https://about.twitter.com/en_us/company/brand-resources.html
If you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Twitter directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Thanks to this connection, Twitter receives the information that your browser has accessed the relevant page of our website, even if you do not have a Twitter profile or have one but are not currently logged into it. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Twitter server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Twitter, Twitter can assign your visit to our website directly to your Twitter account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “Twitter” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Twitter server and stored there. The information is also published on Twitter and displayed to your contacts there.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Twitter as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Twitter’s data protection information: https://twitter.com/de/privacy#update
If you do not want Twitter to link the data collected on our website to your Twitter account, you should log out of Twitter before you visit our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Twitter plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

Content and plugins from YouTube

Due to our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimisation and operation of our online services (within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO), the brandscape GmbH website incorporates videos from the “YouTube” platform operated by Google and in this context uses plug-ins from this provider. The operator of the site is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
Whenever you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to the YouTube servers. The YouTube server is then informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account at the same time, you will enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Further information on the collection and processing of user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
